Free Confidential Document Shredding Week
The Village of Mackinaw is helping residents protect themselves from identity theft by offering FREE confidential document shredding from September 14–18, 2026.
Residents may bring confidential paper documents—including bank statements, tax records, medical records, bills, receipts, and other personal paperwork—to the Village of Mackinaw Office, 100 E. Fast Ave., Mackinaw, IL 61755 during normal business hours. All documents will be securely shredded for safe disposal.
Please note that electronics, batteries, plastic items, large metal objects, binders, and binder clips cannot be accepted.
