Payment Options

**Beginning October 1, 2025 a convenience fee will now be applied to all payments made via credit or debit card. This fee will be the greater of $2.00 or 3% of the total payment amount.

**Beginning October 1, 2025 online payment will no longer accept ACH (E-Check) payments

The Village of Mackinaw offers a variety of convenient payment options for our residents for their water and/or sewer fees. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs.

Online Water/Sewer Bill Payment

If paying online just click the "Pay Your Bill Now" button and follow the prompts.  Please enter your account number when entering your online payment. If you do not have your account number available, please use your service address in its place. We accept all major credit cards.  Starting October 1, 2025 the Village of Mackinaw will no longer accept ACH (E-Check) payments through our online payment program. 

If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five-seven business days before the due date specified on your bill.

Automatic Direct Debit

The worry-free way to pay your bill. With this service, the amount of your monthly bill is automatically deducted from your bank account and credited to your utility account. There is no set-up fee or charge associated with this method of payment. To set up Automatic Direct Debit, simply download and fill out the Direct Debit Authorization Form located below and drop it off or mail it to our office, along with a voided check.

Automatic Credit Card Payments

The Water Department offers a convenient way to pay your bill automatically with your credit card.  Simply fill out the Credit Card Authorization form below and return to Village Hall.  You have the option of paying your bill in full each month on the 1st or the 20th.  Due to the rising costs associated with credit card processing, effective October 1, 2025, the Village of Mackinaw will no longer cover third-party convenience fees. A convenience fee will now be applied to all payments made via credit or debit card. This fee will be the greater of $2.00 or 3% of the total payment amount.

Payment Drop-off Location

You may pay your bill in person at our office address. We accept cash, check, or money orders. If you are unable to drop off your payment during regular business hours there is a drop box slot conveniently located at the front door of Village Hall. 

Payment Through Financial Institution Online Bill Pay

Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information.
